Our Certified Nutritionist work hand in hand with our Personal Trainers and our Nurses. In fact, our services integrate because we are working from one base-your medical evaluation. We do this because if you are taking medications, have had surgeries or other orthopedic issues, they all play a part in weight reduction and maintenance. Moreover, many of us tend to engage in “creature comfort” eating or utilizing food for purposes other than which it has been intended. For this again, we highly recommend working with one of our Certified Life Coaches that will help you understand why you are using food to fill that empty hole inside. Our nutritionist and dietitians will visit you at home to examine how you prepare your foods, shop with you at your local grocery store, create a plan that incorporates your lifestyle and culture. You can expect a weekly follow-up consultations to keep you on track.
SHF’s nutritionists and dietitians have completed training in an ACEND-approved (Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics) program or have an advanced degree in nutrition, are registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and/or Certified Nutritional Specialist through the Certification Board for Nutrition Specialists.
Have peace of mind that you will accomplish your health goals with nutritionists and dietitians who are trained in environmental, family beliefs and cultural differences around diet that make changing eating habits so difficult.
